Health Savings Accounts

The constant changes in health insurance plans and their costs can be overwhelming. A Health Savings Account (HSA) in conjunction with a qualified high deductible health plan (HDHP) may be just what you need. A HSA is a tax-exempt savings account established exclusively for the purpose of paying or reimbursing qualified medical expenses of you, your spouse and your dependents.

You can use funds in your HSA to pay for qualified medical expenses until your deductible is met. In addition the funds can help pay for your current plan's deductible or qualified medical expenses not covered by your insurance policy, including but not limited too:

  • Monthly Insurance Premiums
  • Routine Healthcare Expenses
  • Prescription Drugs
  • Dental/Orthodontic Care
  • Emergency Room Visits
  • Specialists

Qualified medical expenses are paid via check or debit card provided with the account. For more information or to open a HSA account contact one of customer service representatives at our Elkhart office at 574.295.9600 or our Goshen office at 574.533.2006 or stop in and see us for more information.
